AMS is the data controller for the processing of this personal data and special category data held by us in connection with all of the medical screening services offered by us.

Why do we process your data:
We collect and use the information you disclose to us, to provide you with your chosen AMS service. Without collecting and using your Personal Information, it would not be possible for us to offer and manage these services.

- Contact telephone number

Depending on the service being provided, it may be necessary to submit additional information, including, but not limited to:
- Work employee number
- Dependant personal data may be shared with your employer, Club, School, or group POC for the purpose of confirmation of onsite bookings and attendance for services where the option of screening for family members is being provided as part of a screening programme
- Health insurance membership number
- Home address
- Next-of-kin / emergency contact details
- GP details
- Credit card details (if payment is required for the service)
- Account creation information
As part of your use of our services you may be required to give us special categories of data about you relevant to our screening services:
This may include:
- information required in a pre-screening questionnaire
- medical history
- information regarding illness or ill health
- information regarding relevant medical treatments
- other treatments or services relevant to the service being provided by AMS
Children's Privacy:
AMS are committed to safeguarding the privacy of children, especially when it comes to medical screening. Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 12, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without parental consent. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a minor without proper consent, we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our records. If you have any concerns about your child's privacy or believe that we may have collected information from a minor without consent, please contact us immediately.

How do we use your data:
- To communicate with you in relation to any screening services you have booked with AMS.
To provide assistance services to you in relation to any screening services you have booked with AMS. - To issue reminders for any screening services you have booked with AMS.
To communicate results in relation to any screening services you have booked with AMS. - To provide information and guidance, where applicable, in relation to medical diagnoses and healthcare screening services you have booked and attended through AMS.
- Analysing data to improve the quality and effectiveness of our services.
- To assist us in maintaining information security on our digital screening platform.
- To carry out research and anonymised data analysis, including analysis of individuals whose Personal Information we collect, in accordance with applicable law (including obtaining consent where required).
- To manage our business operations and IT infrastructure systems, in line with our internal policies and procedures, including those relating to IT systems operation; data and website hosting; data analytics; business continuity; records management; document and print management, finance and auditing.
- To manage complaints, feedback and queries, and handle requests for data access, correction, or deletion, or the exercise of any other rights relating to Personal Information.
- To comply with applicable laws and regulatory obligations and to comply with legal process and court orders, including requests from public and government authorities, where and if applicable.
- Sharing information with trusted third-party service providers of laboratory services, and medical service contractors who assist us in providing our services. This information is shared on a strictly confidential basis as part of the provision of our screening services.
- AMS will keep an accurate and up to date record of personal information and we will keep this personal data securely stored electronically and in hard copy, if applicable.
- AMS will not disclose the results of your screening to any other person or third party without your prior expressed and informed consent. We may, however, from time to time use or disclose the results for statistical purposes in an anonymised or aggregated format only, from which the person who has been screened cannot be identified. The data shared with third parties unless explicitly consented to will not be stored as identifiable information.
- We do not engage in international transfer of data; our booking/screening software platform is hosted with AWS (Amazon Web Services) with the data centre location selected as Europe – Ireland. Both the primary and backup storage of the application, files and database are in this region.
- Other than exceptions mentioned here and, in our Consent, and Terms & Conditions, AMS will not pass on personal data to any third party without your prior expressed consent.
Data Security:
We take appropriate measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encryption, access controls, and regular security assessments.
- For adults age 18 years and older, for a minimum of 8 years,
- For persons under the age of 18, at least until such persons reach the age of 25
General information:
- When submitted as part of a payment process for a screening service, credit card payment details are processed by Stripe Payment Processing and credit card details are not saved by AMS. Click here to view Stripe's Data Processing Agreement.
- Automated SMS (such as appointment reminders) are sent through SMS service provider, Twilio. Only strictly necessary information is included in such SMS and transferred to Twilio to facilitate the sending of the SMS. Click here to view Twilio's Data Protection Agreement.

If your screening includes analysis of blood or other samples, limited personal information is shared with our laboratory partner to complete the technical analysis. - Click here to view our laboratory Partner’s Privacy Policy.
- Cookies are used for application function only and not for marketing.
- We will not send you promotional material unless you request us to do so.
Use of cookies
AMS uses cookies to allow us to manage and record where you are and data submitted during steps in process, such as creating a booking.
